What experience as a diver should I have before coming on the boat?
Due the nature of some of the diving especially in the Brothers islands and the South where strong currents and heavy sea conditions can prevail, and Zodiac entry is necessary, it is suggested that you are a minimum of Advanced Open Water, and have at least 30 dives experience.

 
What are the boat specifications?
Two 660hp Mercedes (M.T.U.) diesel engines
Three 33kW output generators
Three Bauer compressors
Fourteen Universal air conditioning units
Four fuel tanks (12,000 litres)
Four fresh water holding tanks (8,000 litres)
Two Desalination plant (Making 12,000 litres per day)
Six Refrigerated lockers
Fully equipped modern galley
Customised bridge instrumentation includes HF, VHF, GPS, sonar and radar
Is the boat equipped with oxygen and life rafts aboard?
Fitted to International recommendations, MY Rosetta carries a Dan Oxygen set and nine 50 litre cylinders of oxygen, two 20 persons life rafts with supplies, a emergency flares, fire detection system, fire fighting equipment, and forty BS life jackets
  Do you have a Zodiac?
Yes we do, TWO x Zodiacs ( 8 / 10 pax each )

 
  What crew does the boat have?
Her crew consists of the Captain, Second Captain, Engineer, Chef, Deputy Chef and three deckhands. In addition there are two very experienced multi lingual instructors and two Dive Masters, with extensive knowledge of both northern and southern dive sites to ensure that
you get the very best from your Live Aboard holiday with us. 		 
  Do you have equipment to hire on board?
If required, we carry gauges, regulators, BCDs, torches, fins, masks, snorkels and wetsuits. We also have various cameras, including Digital & MotorMarine II. Our dive shop will cater for most spare parts, MY Rosetta T-shirts towels and other goodies 		 
  Do you run any PADI courses?
Yes we have various courses including, wreck diver, night diver, deep diver, drift diver, multi-level diver under water naturalist, underwater videography, DAN based O2 provider and O2 first aid.T.D.I. Nitrox courses, for Technical diving see 'Technical' section. We are also a T.D.I Middle East Facility
  
  Can I get some help with my photography skills?
A specially written course is available at an extra cost incorporating the basics of photography, equipment, technique, practices and critique. The course is relaxed, informative and thoroughly worthwhile. Courses are run over 2-3 days, and don't affect your diving itinerary.
